M. Colby Struck by Train Near Medford A man named Lorenzo M. Colby was struck by a Southern Pacific trail, while attempting to cross the track about two miles south of Medford, Monday evening. The buggy in which Mr. Colby was riding was completely demolished and the occupant hurled a considerable distance receiving injuries from the effects of which he died about half past nine o'clock, the same evening. Mr. Colby was 22 years of age, a native of Jefferson, Iowa and was married to a daughter of H. M. Coss of Medford.
