Interment was made in the McKee cemetery, six miles west of Jacksonville. She was a bright little child and loved by all who knew her. The following lines were written in memory of her by her father, Jas. Armpriest: “Farewell darling, farewell loved one, / God has claimed you for his own, / And while it grieves our hearts to leave you, / Yet we know ‘tis all well done. / Gert and Mabel, how it pained them, / How it pained dear papa, too, /And dear mamma could hardly bear / To see her darling treated so. / Now, dear Blanch, sweetest angel, / Surely you are in Heaven now. / You are resting in God’s mansion, / With bright laurels on your brow.” Card of Thanks: We desire to express our thanks and gratitude to our friends who so kindly assisted us during the illness and after death of our little daughter, Blanch, particularly to Rev. Eby and Brother Minear for their words of comfort and consolation at the grave. –Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Armpriest.
