The Rev. D. E. Millard will officiate. Interment will be in the family plot in Trail cemetery. Mrs. Ash was born Dec. 11, 1870 in Paris, Pa., and on Dec. 25, 1893, she was married to Edward E. Ash, Seymour, Wis. In 1905 they moved from Michigan to Elk Creek. Mrs. Ash has resided since on the homestead which they claimed there. The deceased was baptized into the Baptist church and had been active in church work her entire life. She was Sunday school superintendent for the Full Gospel church at Trail for 20 years. Mr. Ash preceded her in death March 25, 1935. Survivors include three sons, Howard L., Trail; Lowell W., Prospect; Wayne E., Shady Cove; two daughters, Mrs. Rina M. Howe, Trail; Mrs. Irma D. Cushman, Shady Cove; one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth McMahon, Kingsford, Mich.; two brothers, Gene Chamberlin, Suring, Wis., and Lon Chamberlin, Cannonball, S.D. Eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren also survive.
