F. BAIN STRICKEN WITH PAR[A]LYSIS William F. Bain, engineer of the Medford Hotel for the last ten years and a warm personal friend of Emil Mohr, his employer was stricken with paralysis while at work Saturday morning, and died two hours later. His death came as a shock to his family friends. Mr. Bain was born in Scotland, and was 58 years of age. He had been a resident of this city for the last 18 years, and was a beloved and trusted employee of the Hotel Medford. Emil Mohr, a friend of many years was grief stricken at his sudden death. He bore a wide acquaintance and had a host of friends who will mourn his demise. Besides his wife he leaves three daughters, Daisy, Florence and Ruth Bain. Funeral services will be held at the chapel of Weeks-Conger Co. Monday at 2:30 p.m., Dr. Bray officiating. Services at the grave will be conducted by members of the Masonic Order of which he was a member. Interment in Medford I. O. O. F. cemetery.
