BAIRD -- John O. Baird, brother of Mrs. J. F. Parsons of Phoenix, passed
away January 13, at the age of 26 years, 4 months, 6 days.

Mr. Baird had spent 11 years in the service of the U. S. army. Three years
were spent in China and four years in the coast artillery.

Besides Mrs. Parsons, he leaves two sisters and two brothers, O. M. Baird
of Medford, A. H. Baird, Hugoton, Kansas, Mrs. J. T. Jackson, Clinton,
Oklahoma, and Mrs. G. W. Nowell of Texas. Funeral services in charge of
Conger funeral parlors will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Presbyterian
church at Phoenix. Rev. Nebon will officiate and interment will be in
Phoenix cemetery.
