He was 61 years old. Mr. Beall was born in [sic] June 20, 1876, on the original farmstead on the Central Point lane which bears the family name. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas F. Beall, who settled in Jackson County in 1852. Mr. Beall inherited part of the original homestead and farmed it for many years. It is now the Gus Newbury estate. The pioneer left here about ten years ago. Mr. Beall is survived by his wife, Clara, two daughters, Mrs. Bernice Johansen of San Francisco and Mrs. Ann Sedlaheck of Arcadia, Cal., a son, Tyson, Jr., who resides at the family home in Arcadia, two brothers, Lee Beall of Lakeview and Asbury Beall of Route 2, Medford, and a sister, Mrs. I. M. Lewis of Sparks, Nev. Funeral services were to be held at the Arcadia home. Medford (Oregon) Mail Tribune, Thursday, 4 Mar 1937, p. 3, c. 5 Funeral services were held in Arcata, Cal., Tuesday afternoon for Tyson Beall, Jackson County native who died in a Eureka hospital last Sunday. Last rites were conducted by the Rev. Thomas M. Atkinson. Burial took place in Greenwood cemetery, Arcata. Mr. Beall was well known here, having for years resided on a part of the original family homestead on Beall Lane in the Central Point district. He was born on the Beall Lane farmstead on June 20, 1876, sone of Thomas F. And Ann Hall Beall, Southern Oregon pioneers who settled in Jackson County in 1852. After reaching manhood Mr. Beall farmed his Beall Lane tract for y ears and became prominently known throughout Southern Oregon. He resided on his inherited part of the original farmstead until he moved to Eureka. He had resided in Humboldt county, Cal., for the last 16 years. He was a former member of the Medford lodge of Elks. Mr. Beall is survived by his wife, Clara May Beall, a son, Tyson, Jr. And a daughter, Mrs. Ann Sedlacek, all of Arcata; a daughter, Mrs. Bernice Johansen of Eureka; two brothers, Asbury Beall of Medford and Lee Beall of Lakeview; a sister, Mrs. I. M. Lewis of Sparks, Nev., and four grandchildren.
