Bedingfield passed away suddenly in a local hospital Saturday afternoon at the age of 63. He was taken ill while on his way from his home near McCloud to visit his daughter, Mrs. Frank S. Dunkin, in Talent. He was born in Springfield, Mo., on April 30, 1878. For the past 18 years he had made his home in Jackson county, the last seven years in the Trail district. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jannie Bedingfield, Trail; three daughters, Mrs. Delores Dunkin, Talent; Ruth and Wilda Marion, both living at home; four sons, Alfred, LeRoy and Clyde, all of Trail, and Laurel, now stationed at Fort Lewis, Wash. There is also one brother, Fred Bedingfield, Medford. Services will be held in the Conger funeral parlors Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. D. E. Millard officiating. Interment will be in the Central Point cemetery.
