Biles, 66, for the last 18 years a resident of Gold Hill, passed away in a Grant's Pass hospital early Sunday. Mr. Biles was born at Kerbyville, Mo., Feb. 25, 1879. Besides his wife, Ida Biles, he leaves three children, Chester Biles, of Long Beach, Calif.; Veltie Biles, Gold Hill and Mrs. Bryan Ward of Medford; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The following brothers and sisters also survive: Archie Biles, Medford; Arthur, of Aumsville, Ore.; Milton, Merced, Cal.; Johnnie, Bend, Ore.; Clay, of Arkansas; George and Thomas, Lawton, Okla.; Ella Ramey, King City, Calif., and Mary Webb, Jasper, Ark. Funeral services will be held in the Conger-Morris chapel at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Harry Hansen officiating. Interment will follow in Siskiyou Memorial Park.
