Ida Bolz, 65, wife of R. F. Bolz and a resident of Route 4, near Phoenix, Oregon, passed away at the family home Wednesday at 10 a.m., after a prolonged illness. Mrs. Bolz was born in Minnesota, Oct. 18, 1875. She spent her early life in the east, and was married to Mr. Bolz in North Dakota in July 1903. They came to Ashland in 1909, and have lived in the Rogue River valley since that time. She is survived by the following children: Four daughters, Mrs. Paul. G. Allen, Walla Walla, Wash.; Mrs. John Holst, Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. Harold Archer and Mrs. Merle Simmonds, of Medford; four sons, Roy A., Ernest J., Walter R., and Sidney R., all at home. Funeral services will be conducted from the chapel of the Perl Funeral home Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment will take place in the Phoenix cemetery.
