He was born in Sutter county, Calif., and came with his parents to the Applegate valley 35 years ago. He came to Medford seven years ago and conducted the West Side and Union stables. He was a member of Jacksonville lodge of Odd Fellows and Loyal Order of Moose, Medford, Ore. Mr. Bostwick leaves his mother, Mrs. Evalise Bostwick, five brothers and four sisters, William Bostwick of Ashland, Ore., Walter Bostwick, Jacksonville, Bert Bostwick, Williams Creek, Ore.; Irving Bostwick, “somewhere in France;” and Vance Bostwick of Medford; Mrs. Rosa Cameron, Jacksonville; Mrs. Gertrude Payne, Medford; Mrs. Hattie Reece, Tacoma, Wash.; Mrs. Luan Scholz, Medford. The funeral services will be held at Perl’s chapel, Sunday at 1 p. m., Rev. W. B. Hamilton officiating. The service at the grave will be in charge of the Moose Lodge. Burial in Jacksonville cemetery.
