Medford (Oregon) Mail Tribune, Friday, 6 Apr 1917, Rogue River, p. 6, c. 7
Died--O. C. Boyer, at his late home near Rogue River, Sunday morning, April 
1st, 1917, of heart disease. Mr. Boyer was born in Pennsylvania August 11, 
1878. He came to this locality about seven years ago in search of health and 
was much improved until a few weeks ago. He leaves a wife and three small 
children here and a father in Pennsylvania. Mr. Boyer leaves many friends here 
who were won by his upright character and cheerful neighborliness. The funeral 
services were held at the church Monday afternoon, Rev. Joel Milton 
officiating and burial was made in the Rogue River cemetery.
