Medford (Oregon) Mail Tribune, Monday, 12 Jul 1943, p. 3, c. 7
Mrs. Gip Brisco, 95, former resident of Trail, passed away in Bishop, Cal., 
recently. Mr. and Mrs. Brisco, with their family, lived on a ranch at Upper 
Trail for many years, moving to Bishop, Inyo county, Cal., about 30 years ago, 
where Mr. Bishop [sic] preceded her in death by several years. Mrs. Brisco 
leaves one son and three daughters, Ed Brisco of Ft. Klamath, Mattie Burch of 
Lakeview, Lulu Harger of Grants Pass, and Ella Matlock of Bishop, Cal.; also a 
brother-in-law, Jim Brisco of Central Point.
