BRISCOE, James, Medford (Oregon) Mail Tribune, Wed, 11 Sep
1946, p. 3 -- James Briscoe, a resident of this community for many
years, passed away Tuesday afternoon in Medford. 

Mr. Briscoe was born in Pleasant Hill, Mo. on April 27, 1857, and
came to the northwest while a young man. He was united in
marriage to Eva Brown, who later passed away in Baker, Ore. To
this union two children were born: Harry, deceased, and Mrs.
Mabel Hubbard, who now resides in Portland.

He was later married to Sarah Ragsdale of Trail, and she preceded
him in death on June 8, of this year.

Funeral services will be held at the Perl Funeral Home on Friday,
Sept. 13, 1946, at 10 o'clock, with the Rev. D. E. Millard officiating.
Interment will take place in Medford I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
