J. BROPHY DIES AT BURNS HOME Relatives in Medford have received word of the death of J. J. Brophy, former Medford resident in Burns, Ore., yesterday noon. Mr. Brophy had been ill for the past eight months. The deceased lived at the family home on Anderson Creek near Talent as a boy, but for many years past had lived in Burns. Surviving are the widow and four sons in Burns, and a brother, Nicholas Brophy; two nephews, Leland and Verne Brophy, and a niece, Mrs. Charles R. Green, all of Medford. A sister of Mrs. J. J. Brophy, Mrs. M. J. Burroughs, also lives in Medford. Funeral arrangements had not been made at the time relatives here were informed of the death.
