Brown, wife of the late Syd I. Brown, passed away at a local hospital Friday. Mrs. Brown was born at San Francisco on Sept. 11, 1888. She had lived in Medford for 35 years and was known to many. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic church. Anna C. Cotter was united in marriage to Mr. Brown in San Francisco, June 28, 1911, and they moved to Medford immediately afterward. He passed away June 17, 1945. She is survived by one son, George I. Brown, Medford; three daughters, Marie C. Brown, Oakland, Calif.; Mrs. Paul (Dixie) Trahan and Mrs. L. E. (Sydney) Nelson, both of Medford; one sister, Mrs. Agatha C. Fernan of Los Angeles; three grandchildren, Susan Ann Nelson, Georgia Lee and Marilyn Brown, all of Medford. Funeral services will be conducted from Sacred Heart church Tuesday at 9 a.m. with the Rev. Father Francis W. Black officiating. Interment will be in Siskiyou Memorial Park. Recitation of the rosary will be held at the Perl Funeral Home Monday at 8 p.m. Pall-bearers will be Howard Gault, Verne Smith, J. S. Brooks, William Von der Hellen, C. A. Meyers and George Neilson.
