H. Sunderman, 511 North Fir street, December 30, 1926. Mrs. Bernst came west with her husband 14 years ago, and bought a home on the Eagle Point road some eight miles but Mr. Bernst was killed by a runaway team 13 years ago. Mrs. Bernst and her sister, Mrs. Laura Crocker, lived on the farm until seven years ago when they went back to their old home in Cincinnati, Ohio. Mrs. Bernst came back west just a year ago and was staying with Mrs. Sunderman. She was ill only a few days and her death was a shock to her many friends. The remains were shipped by the Perl Funeral parlors to Cincinnati, to be buried by the side of her husband. KRAMER -- John Kramer died at Sacred Heart hospital from infirmities of old age and pneumonia. He had been a patient there since last July. He was a resident of Jacksonville for many years where he followed mining and gardening. He was born in Germany seventy three years ago. There are several nephews and nieces in the East who survive Mr. Kramer. Funeral services will be held at the Catholic church Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. Interment in Medford cemetery.
