BYRNE. Mr. Terry P. Byrne died at his home, near Watkins postoffice, in this county, on Tuesday, January 5, 1904, of tuberculosis. Mr. Byrne was aged sixty-five years, four months and twenty days. He came to Oregon in a [sic] early day and for a number of years lived on Lower Applegate and Forest creek where he was well and favorably known. He and his family have lived in Watkins precinct for nearly ten years. He peacefully fell asleep surrounded by his devoted family and sympathetic neighbors. Nothing was left undone for him that loving hearts and willing hands could do. He leaves a wife, two sons and three daughters to mourn his demise. The remains were laid to rest in the Jacksonville cemetery on January 7th.
