COPPLE, Ola (Lewis), Medford (Oregon) Mail Tribune, Monday, 13
Oct 1947, p. 4: Mrs. Ola Copple, 56, of Applegate, passed away at
the home of her brother, Ervin Lewis, 540 Fairmont street,
Sunday. Arrangements are in care of the Conger-Morris Funeral
Parlors. A complete obituary will be published later.

COPPLE, Ola (Lewis), Medford (Oregon) Mail Tribune, Tuesday, 14
Oct 1947, p. 7: Funeral services for Mrs. Ola Copple, 56, of
Applegate, who passed away Sunday will be held in the Conger-
Morris chapel at 2 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. D. E. Millard
officiating. Interment will be in Siskiyou Memorial Park. 

The deceased was born October 21, 1889, in Applegate, where she
had resided her entire life. She was the daughter of Isaac and
Henrietta [Heckathorn] Lewis. Mrs. Copple was married on July 4,
1909, to Fred Copple, who passed away April, 1943.

Surviving are three brothers: Ervin Lewis, Medford; Elmer Lewis,
Crescent Mills, Calif.; Trueman Lewis, Everett, Wash.; two
sisters, Mrs. Bessie Dorn, Medford, and Mrs. Lydia Stimpson,
Gazelle, Calif.
