EATON OF J'VILLE DIES William E. Eaton, known to his friends as "Yockey," passed away at a local hospital Tuesday evening. He had been in poor health for the past year. He was born in Jacksonville, January 25, 1875, and his entire life was spent there. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ella Eaton, a brother, John Eaton of Medford, and five sisters, Mrs. Ruby Fox, San Francisco; Mrs. Arthur Mulholland, Portland; Mrs. Joe Pope, Mrs. Linda Whiteside and Mrs. Lida Armstrong, all of Roseburg. Funeral services will be held in the Conger funeral parlors Thursday afternoon at 4, with Rev. D. E. Millard officiating. Interment will be in Jacksonville cemetery.
