She was laid to rest on Tuesday, May 20th, in the Rock Point cemetery. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband, two brothers, one sister and a host of friends. Just a week later a number of friends and relatives from here attended the funeral of Alton Morris of Gold Hill, who was laid to rest at Rock Point Tuesday, May 27. Alton's parents were at one time residents of our community, his father being a brother of Mrs. J. U. Smith.
