Medford (Oregon) Mail Tribune, Friday, 25 Nov 1932, p. 8, c. 4
M. D. Jackson, a resident of Gold Hill for 12 years, passed away at a local
hospital Wednesday at the age of 75 years.
Mr. Jackson leaves no known relatives but a host of friends in and around
Gold Hill.
Funeral services will be held at the Rock Point cemetery at Gold Hill at 2
p.m. Saturday. Conger Funeral Parlors in charge.

Additional Comments:
"It appears on the obit the correct name is M.D. Jackson, who died on 23 Nov 
1932, not born on 23 Nov 1932. Also, the first name for M.D. Jackson is 
Marshall Jackson pulled from the 1930 census, who was a miner in the area who 
was 73 years old at the time. That was the only Jackson who was over 70 in the 
area. I checked for the records and I found Marshall Jackson in West Phoenix 
in the 1920 census, with all the data matching."--Information from B. Handy,
