Mr. Jaqua was born at Napoleon, Ohio, April 11, 1868. He married Lillian Rose at Findley, Ohio, June 15, 1892, and to this union was born one son, Claren, who survives with the widow and one grandson, James Hall, Jr.; also two sisters, Mrs. J. P. Weinacker of Mobile, Ala., and Mrs. Minda Chapman of Beverly Hills, Calif., and two brothers, Lester E. and Guy I. Jaqua of Detroit, Mich. The family were residents of Mobile, Ala., for nine years, coming to Medford 15 years ago. He was a prominent member of Talisman lodge No. 31, Knights of Pythias and Woodmen of the World, secretary of Fuhat Burkan temple, D. O. K. K. and elder of the Presbyterian church, and was a man of fine Christian character. Mr. Jaqua was a wonderfully skillful cabinet maker and his work graces many of the homes of this community and his church. Funeral services will be held at the Perl Funeral Home, Thursday at 2:30 p.m., Rev. Claud B. Porter officiating. Services at the grave in charge of Talisman lodge Knights of Pythias, H. G. Wortman, J. W. Wakefield, Ed Robinson, Everett Trowbridge, J. C. Godlove and Frank Yashan. The honorary pallbearers will be from the Presbyterian church, C. J. Brommer, Walter Frazer Brown, F. S. Carpenter, Dr. W. W. W. P. Holt, C. B. McNath, H. F. W. Spilver, L. A. Crane, J. H. Cooley. The loyalty of Mr. Jaqua as an officer of the church, is very much appreciated by the pastor and congregation.
