W. Sullivan, 2024 Kings Highway after a lingering illness. She was born February 17, 1874, in Fremont county, Ia. When a young girl she came with her parents to Oregon where she spent the most of her life. A devout Unity scholar and a great believer in Christianity, she was loved by all who knew her. On August 18, 1891, she was united in marriage to John Hammersly, now deceased. To this union was born a daughter, Mrs. A. W. Sullivan, who survives. She also leaves to mourn her passing, a grand-daughter, Mrs. A. G. Miller, Medford, three great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Anna Parker, Ontario, Ore.; three brothers, Will Copple, Grant's Pass; Frank Copple, Dunsmuir, Calif; Charles Copple, Gazelle, Calif.; several nieces, a nephew and her husband, D. L. Jones. Services will be held in the Conger-Morris chapel at 2:30 p.m. Friday with the Rev. D. E. Millard officiating. Interment will be in Jacksonville cemetery.
