JONES, Mary Elizabeth, Medford (Oregon) Mail Tribune, Sunday, 4 Jun 1933:   
Mary Elizabeth Jones passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harrison
Ping, 508 Palm street, Saturday afternoon, after a lingering illness from heart
trouble. Aged 64 years, 7 months, 6 days. Born in Laurel county, Kentucky,
October 27, 1868. Her daughter, Mrs. Harrison, brought her mother to
Medford, December 10th, 1932, where she has since resided. She was a
resident of Laurel, Montana for 30 years and a member of the Methodist
church. She leaves three children, one daughter and two sons, Mrs. Harrison
Ping of Medford, Grover C. Jones of Laurel, Montana, and Payton C. Jones of
Salida, Colorado. Also, seven grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be
announced by the Perl Funeral Home upon the arrival here of her sons who are
expected to arrive in Medford Monday.
