Services for Joseph J. Jones, who died recently, will be held in Chapel of the 
Roses, Roseburg, at 2 p. m. Wednesday. Mr. Jones was born Jan. 12, 1918, at 
Crescent City and had lived most of his life in Oregon. He had lived in the 
Roseburg area for the last three years. He was a veteran of World War II. 
Surviving are his wife, Thelma; four daughters, Sandra, Verna Rae, Judy, all 
of Roseburg, and Joann of Medford, his mother, Mrs. Bessie Jones of Medford; 
three sisters, Mrs. Edna Smith of Crescent City, Mrs. Ila Anderson and Mrs. 
Evelyn Tarr, both of Medford; two brothers, Clyde of Medford and Ed of 
California.
