H. Mahoney of Oakland, died at the family home there at 5:15 p.m. Friday, December 25, 1914. She was 69 years of age and had been ill for some time. Mrs. Mahoney was an Oregon pioneer, coming to Oregon with her husband from Crandon, Mo., in 1865. They were among the early settlers at Oakland. She is survived by her husband, six sons and three daughters: Mrs. M. Fickle of Roseburg, Mrs. Henry Little, Mrs. R. L. Stearns of Oakland; Walter J. Mahoney of Grant's Pass, formerly of Medford; Paul Mahoney, Portland; Arthur, Harvey, Harry and Douglas Mahoney, Oakland. Harry Mahoney is the postmaster in that city. The funeral was held Sunday.
