Born at Watertown, Wisconsin, September 17, 1855. He was a graduate of Watertown Normal school. He was married to Ella Hogobdom at Stoughton, Wisconsin July 14, 1877, and is survived by his wife, Ella, two sons, George E. Marshall, Cloquet, Minn., Harry R. Marshall, Malone, Wash., and one daughter, Mrs. Henry J. Odey of Tacoma, Wash. Mr. Marshall was employed by the Weyerhaeuser Tiber company for the past 27 years and for the past 21 years he was the tax agent for the company in Washington and Oregon. He was a life member of the Blue Lodge, A. F. & A. M. of Milwaukee, Wis., and a member of Ivanhoe Commandry No. 4 K. T. in Tacoma, Wash. for the past 21 years. He was well known in all county seats in both states and among the timber interests. His remains will be transferred to Tacoma, Wash., Friday evening and burial services will be held at Tacoma Monday afternoon from the Buckley-King Funeral chapel.
