Emma Grohs Obenchain, for the last 50 years a resident of Klamath county,
passed away at the home of her niece, Mrs. J. F. Flock, 201 Jefferson
street, Friday, December 3, 1937, at 10:30 a.m., following an illness of
two years. She was a native of Dutch Flat, Calif., and at the time of her
death was aged 70 years 8 months and 2 days. Surviving are her husband,
Silas Obenchain of this city, a brother, Frank P. Grohs of Langell valley
and a sister, Mrs. Walter Cheney of San Francisco, Calif. The remains rest
in the Earl Whitlock Funeral Home, Pine street at Sixth. Notice of funeral
to be announced later.

Funeral services for the late Emma Grohs Obenchain, who passed away in this
city Friday, December 3, 1937, following an illness of two years, will be
held in St. Paul's Episcopal church, Jefferson street at Eighth, Monday,
December 6, 1937, at 3 p.m. with Father V. E. Newman of this city
officiating. Commitment services and vault entombment, family plot in
Linkville cemetery. Friends are invited. Funeral arrangements are under the
direction of the Earl Whitlock Funeral Home of this city.  Klamath Falls
