Because of the sickness of Mr. Obenchain the entertainment for last
Thursday evening was postponed until next Saturday. It is reported that Mr.
Obenchain is no better. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Obenchain who moved to
Portland last winter, returned to the bedside of their sick father
Thursday.

Mr. Obenchain, who has been sick for the past two weeks, died Monday
afternoon, 5:30 o'clock. He leaves a wife and a large family of children,
besides many friends to mourn his loss.
