Died--In Jacksonville, November 22, 1895, Rachel O'Fling, aged 48 years. The 
deceased has been ill for two years with consumption and her death was not 
unexpected. Her home was in Salem, but she has been stopping in Jacksonville 
with her brother, C. W. Kahler, and sister, Mrs. Jos. McDonough, for several 
months in hopes of a beneficial change, but the disease had gained a strong 
hold and was not to be cured. A husband and several children survive the wife 
and mother. The funeral services were conducted Sunday morning by Rev. W. B. 
Moore.
