Mr. Pankey was born in Illinois, Dec. 20, 1866, and was united in marriage to Mrs. Laura McClendon in July, 1919, at Ashland. He was one of the oldest members of the Ashland Lodge of Elks. Besides his wife, he is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Mary E. Moore of Central Point, Mrs. Anna B. Hanna of Depoe Bay, Ore., and Mrs. Lottie V. Cingcade of Eagle Point, and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the Perl Funeral Home Thursday at 1:30 p.m., with the Rev. Rolf Hansen of Central Point officiating. Interment will be in Jacksonville Cemetery.
