Deceased was born at Central Point, Ore. Nov. 4, 1865, the daughter of an early pioneer, Bartlett Obenchain, and has lived all her life in or near that place. June 6th. 1886 she was married to Obadiah R. Pankey and to this union were born five children four of whom are living today, two sons and two daughters, Clarence and Vernon Pankey; Mrs. Esther Simington, Dunsmuir, Calif., and Pearl Pankey, Central Point. Mrs. Pankey is survived by her husband, Obadiah R. Pankey and her aged mother, Mrs. Nancy Obenchain, two sisters, Mrs. Jennie Wilson and Mrs. Minnie Hansel of Klamath Falls, Ore., three brothers, Silas and M. M. Obenchain, Klamath Falls, Ore., and George Obenchain, Central Point, Ore., and one grandchild, Burnell Pankey. Funeral services will be held at the home of her mother, Mrs. Nancy Obenchain, Wednesday at 2 p.m., Rev. Beattie officiating. Interment in Central Point cemetery.
