Parsons, Ashland loses one of its well known well loved citizens. Dr. Parsons has been a practicing physician in this city for over forty years, and has enjoyed the confidence and esteem of all who knew him. After an illness extending over the past year, although able to be about and see his friends most of the time, he passed away at 11:40 a.m. May 12, 1925, aged 74 years, following a stroke the evening before, from which he did not regain consciousness. Dr. Parsons was a member of the Lutheran church. He was a graduate of the Jefferson Medical college, Philadelphia, and is survived by his wife, of this city, and two sisters and a brother who reside in Philadelphia. Funeral arrangements have not been made.
