OBITUARY

William S. Paul, a resident of the little Applegate district, where he had
resided since coming here from Portland 14 years ago, passed away in
addition local hospital early this morning following a brief illness.

Mr. Paul was born at Crabtree, Linn county, Oregon, July 27, 1869, aged 65.
Besides his wife, Lilly Paul, he leaves four daughters, Mrs. Carol White of
Medford; Mrs. Otto Rahn and Mrs. Charles Ray of Corvallis, Oregon, and
Sylvia Akers of California and one son, Percy A., of Jacksonville, 12
grandchildren and three great grand-children and one sister, Celia Elliott
of Portland also survive. 

Funeral services will be held at the Conger chapel at a date to be
announced later.

Funeral services for William S. Paul, who passed away in a local hospital
Thursday morning, will be conducted by Rev. D. E. Millard at the Conger
chapel at 2:00 p.m. Saturday.

Interment will be made in the Siskiyou memorial park.
