Pearce passed away Sunday, 6 a.m. at his home in East Medford. Although he had been a sufferer from diabitis (sic) for several months, his death came as a distinct shock to every one, as he walked down town Friday afternoon, and seemed about as well as usual until last Thursday, complaining of toothache, which developed quickly into an abscess for which he was operated upon Friday evening after much suffering. Enan H. Pearce was born at Brownsboro, Ore., August 15, 1881, and was the son of D. J. S. and Sarah A. Pearce. He leaves to mourn his loss his aged parents, two daughters, Zola and Charlotte, one sister and five brothers, Grave V., Dan M., and Paul E. of Medford, Floyd of Eagle Point, Mel of Juneau, Alaska and a host of relatives and friends. His death will be greatly mourned, as his life was such that commanded the love and respect of every one who knew him, being a splendid Christian character and untiring in his effort to serve his master and never missing an opportunity to witness for him. Funeral services will be held at the Weeks-Conger chapel Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. Interment will be made in the Medford cemetery.
