Old Resident of County is Dead--Henry Pech, an old resident of Jackson county, 
died at his home near Central Point Friday. He was born in Posen, Germany, and 
served in the German army three years, and two years in the Franco-Prussian 
war. He came to New York state in 1871 and there married Otinna Messol. Six 
months later he moved to Jackson county. He is survived by three sons--Emil, 
Rudolph and Henry--and three daughters--Mrs. Amelia Albers, Mrs. Matilda 
Schultz and Mrs. Augusta Puhl. Funeral notice later. [Transcriber's note--no 
funeral notice was located.]

c. 1: Henry Pech, an old and respected rancher, died at his home near this 
city at 4 o'clock Thursday afternoon after a long illness.
