Lowell Adron Pipes, son of Charlie and Julia Pipes, died at the family home on 
the Willow Springs road west of Central Point from epilepsy with which he had 
been afflicted since childhood. He had been out hunting with one of the 
neighbors Wednesday evening. After returning home he had been missed for a 
short while and he was found out in the yard lying face down suffocated. He 
was the only child and was born at Lordsburg, Cal., and was aged 17 years, 10 
months, three days. The parents had been residents of Sams Valley for 13 years 
and of Central Point for the year. The funeral services will be held at the 
home Friday at 1 p. m. Interment in Central Point cemetery.
