MRS. PITTENGER PASSES, AGED 78

Mrs. Caroline Pittenger, a resident of Medford for the past four years,
died last evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Fred Ryan, 622 West
Fourth street.

Mrs. Pittenger, 78, was born in Headly, England, and came to San Diego,
Cal., from there in 1885. She went to Grant's Pass in 1900, where she lived
until coming here four years ago. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs.
Ryan and Mrs. Jessie Ball of Point Loma, Cal., and one son, Cloyd E.
Cargill of Portland.

Burial will be held in Grant's Pass with Hall funeral home in charge.
