We have had another death in our community. Ralph E. Potter died Friday 
afternoon, aged 28 years, 11 months and 8 days. He leaves his father, mother, 
Robert Potter and wife of Ashland, a sister, Ceicel, and brother, Boyd of 
Central Point. The deceased has been a sufferer all of his life, and 
consequently his death is not lamented as tho [sic] he had been of a robust 
constitution.

Medford (Oregon) Mail Tribune, Saturday, 24 Nov 1917, p. 6, c. 3: Died Friday, 
November 23, at Eagle Point, Ralph E. Potter, aged 28 years, 11 months and 8 
days. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 1:30 p. m. at the family 
residence. Rev. Van Scoyoc of Ashland will conduct the services. Burial will 
be in the Central Point cemetery.
