SABIN OF ROUTE 3 DIES Oliver Corwin Sabin, 80, passed away at the family home on Route 3 at 5 p.m. Tuesday, after a prolonged illness. Mr. Sabin, who was born in West Iima, Wis., March 30, 1860, had enjoyed fine health until the past few months. He spent most of his life in Wisconsin, and gained his education there, and was united in marriage to Miss Mary Marshall at Hillsboro, Wis., December 31, 1885. They moved to Medford in 1924, and have lived here continuously since that time. Mr. Sabin leaves a host of friends. He had been a member of the First Christian church for 65 years, and was at one time one of the officers of the local church. He leaves to mourn his departure, three daughters, Mrs. A. B. Eastland of Seattle, Wash., Mrs. O. A. Goffin of Radisson, Wis., Mrs. N. J. Rindt of Medford; one son, O. E. Sabin of Medford; one brother, Eli Sabin of Ladysmith, Wis.; two sisters, Mrs. Rose Callaway of Wausau, Wis., and Mrs. Alta Doan of Ludlow, S. D. Funeral services will be conducted from the Perl Funeral home Friday at 2 p.m., Rev. R. W. Coleman, pastor of the First Christian church, officiating. Interment will take place in Siskiyou Memorial Park.
