VOGELI, Minnie Frances (Barbre), Medford (Oregon) Mail Tribune,
Tuesday, 5 Nov 1935 -- Mrs. Minnie Vogeli Pioneer Daughter Buried
In Ashland   Funeral services were held this afternoon in Ashland
for Mrs. Minnie Frances Vogeli, 77, of Talent. Mrs. Vogeli was a
member of a well known pioneer family, her mother having crossed
the plains in a covered wagon with her parents in the early [18]40s. 

Minnie Frances Barbre Vogeli was born March 8, 1858, in Eugene,
Oregon. She was married to Wesley Vogeli September 17, 1879,
having celebrated her 56th wedding anniversary a short time ago.
Mrs. Vogeli has lived in Talent for the past 24 years, coming to
Ashland less than a week ago to the home of Mr. and Mrs. George
A. Briscoe, where she passed away Sunday afternoon.

Mrs. Vogeli was a member of the First Methodist church and was
active in church and community affairs until ill health interfered. 

She is survived, in addition to her husband, Wesley Vogeli, of
Talent, by three daughters, Mrs. J. D. Eaton and Mrs. Myrtle
Andrews, both of Medford, Mrs. Geo. A. Briscoe of Ashland and by
three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
               
Funeral services held from the J. P. Dodge and Sons chapel with
Rev. Melville T. Wire officiating. Interment in the Mountain View
cemetery.
