There had been two weddings, the first one was that of Mr. Ed Coy and Miss Loretta Childreth, Nov. 25th, oldest daughter of our blacksmith, W. L. Childreth, and the other was Mr. William Holman, of Climax and Miss Nova Taylor, daughter of one of our old settlers, W. W. Taylor. Both marriages were solemnized by Rev. I. I. Simmons at the homes of the brides.
