Medford (Oregon) Mail Tribune, Tuesday, 23 July 1912, p. 3, c. 1 
Milton Ottoman and Maude Gaines were united in marriage by Rev. W. F. Shields 
at the home of W. A. Aitken, 738 W. 14th street, at 9:00 p. m. Tuesday, July 
23. The home was beautifully decorated and underneath an arching bower of 
roses and flowers the words were said that made the young people one in 
interests, sympathies and hopes. A large company of friends witnessed the 
ceremony, and by good wishes and congratulations, and by many beautiful gifts 
they started Mr. and Mrs. Ottoman happily on the sea of matrimony. Mr. Ottoman 
is the head man in the freight office in Medford, and Mrs. Ottoman is one of 
the old families of this valley, and [where] she has lived and grown to young 
womanhood. They will make their home on S. Grape street, this city, and with 
the love and favor of all begin life together.
