Medford (Oregon) Mail, Friday, 1 June 1900, City Happenings, p. 7, c. 3-4
Married–On May 29th, at the residence of the bride’s mother, Mrs. E. M. Rose, 
Mr. J. A. Norman, of Grants Pass, and Miss Jennie Hibbard, of Medford, Rev. W. 
B. Moore, pastor of the M. E. Church, officiating. The wedding was a quiet 
one, only members of the families being present. The happy couple took the 
evening train for Grants Pass, where they will reside, Mr. Norman being a 
railroad man in the employ of the Southern Pacific Company. He is a gentleman 
well and favorably known in southern Oregon. The bride was one of Medford’s 
most charming young ladies, accomplished in every particular that goes to make 
up the best society, a fine musician and esteemed by all. The Mail’s 
congratulations are many fold.
