M. A. Williams’, last Thursday, that veteran preacher of the valley pronounced the ceremony which united, “until God does them part,” the heart and hand of Mr. Asahel Hubbard, of this city, and Miss Rena Knowles, of Jacksonville,–in the presence of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Woods, Mrs. Woods being a sister of the bride. Friday morning the couple left for Bly, Klamath County, where they will remain a couple of months. The groom is a member of the firm of Hubbard Brothers., dealers in agricultural implements in this city, and is one of our very best and most highly respected young men. He is every inch a gentleman and is a good, thorough man of business. His friends are found in numbers at every turn of the road and all are in line with the heartiest of congratulations and are heaping upon him their wishes for prosperity and happiness. The bride is a very fine young lady with friends everywhere, and a lady well qualified to make a happy and agreeable helpmate to the gentleman whose name she now bears. Additional Comments: Bride's actual given name Ada Waltrene Knowles.
