A quiet wedding was that Saturday evening at 7 o’clock at the Hotel Holland of 
Miss Josephine Kreuter of San Francisco and Calice V. Cummings. The ceremony 
was performed by Justice of the Peace Glenn O. Taylor. Mr. and Mrs. Carl 
Brummer were the witnesses. The bride’s parents formerly owned the Coker Butte 
orchard and the family has resided in San Francisco for the past eight months. 
Mr. Cummings owns an orchard on the Coker Butte road and for the past two 
years has been superintendent of the Ala Vista orchards. Mr. and Mrs. Cummings 
left this morning for their orchard home, and Mr. Cummings hereafter will give 
all his time to his own orchard, having resigned as superintendent of the Ala 
Vista orchard.
