J. Rodgers, of Table Rock, on January 18th, when their daughter, Miss Myrtle, was united in matrimony to Jas. W. Amick, Justice C. C. Gall officiating. The bride was handsomely and tastefully gowned. After the ceremony the company adjourned to the dining room, where beautifully decorated tables, loaded with everything good to eat, awaited them. The occasion will long be remembered by those present. This is [the] third marriage ceremony at which Mr. Gall has officiated in this family. Many years ago he united Mr. and Mrs. Rodgers, parents of the bride, in matrimony and on April 27, 1896, performed the ceremony which united their oldest daughter to L. J. Carter.
