The bride, tall, slender and dark, was lovely in a gown of white eyelet organdy and wore a large picture hat and carried a bouquet of pink rosebuds. Her maid of honor, Miss Elizabeth Swigart, wore a similar gown of pale yellow with large hat and a bouquet of garden flowers in shades of orchid to complete her ensemble. The groom was attended by his [-?-] Tom Ayres. Following the ceremony, the 40 guests continued to the Wake Robin Inn, where breakfast was served. Mr. and Mrs. Ayres are now enjoying a motor trip through Old Mexico and will return to Palo Alto to make their home, where Mr. Ayres is associated with the staff of Stanford University.
