A wedding which will come as a surprise to her many friends in the valley is that of Miss Thelma McBride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. McBride of Table Rock, to Leroy Hubbell of San Francisco, which occurred on Saturday, February 12, 1921, at Santa Cruz, Calif. The marriage has not been made public until this time for business reasons. Mrs. Hubbell has spent most of her life in the valley and is a nurse of more than ordinary ability, having graduated from the Merritt hospital in Oakland, California. For the past year she has held a responsible position in the medical department of the Standard Oil company in San Francisco. Mr. Hubbell is well and favorably known in San Francisco, where he has grown to manhood. He now holds a lucrative position with the American Telegraph and Telephone company of San Francisco. The many friends of Mrs. Hubbell extend most hearty congratulations to the young couple, and wish them a long life of happiness. Mr. and Mrs. Hubbell are now at home to their friends at 600 Bush street, San Francisco, Calif.
