Medford Sun, Sunday, 20 Feb 1921, p. 5, c. 2: A very pretty wedding took place at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. James Stewart on 328 Plum street Friday evening, February 18, at 8 o'clock, when Bessie F. Downing became the wife of C. B. Manning of Portland. The bride was elegantly dressed in pale blue satin, and carried a bouquet of pink and white carnations. Mrs. Paula Ragsdale, daintily attired in pink crepe de chene, acted as matron of honor. Mr. Thos. Ragsdale accompanied the bridegroom as best man. After the ceremony, performed by Rev. E. R. Leach, light refreshments were served. In decorating, the color scheme was pink and blue. Music for the occasion was furnished by Fern, Agnes and George Stewart. Only immediate relatives were present. The happy couple will make their home in Portland.
